Suggest between iPad mini 32 gig (Wi-Fi) and Nexus 7 32 gig Wi-Fi+ Cell

If given a chance to choose between Nexus 7 32 gig Wi-Fi+ 3G and iPad mini 32 gig Wi-Fi (no cellular) for a price difference of $125, iPad being $125 more than Nexus 7, which would be the wisest buy?

I am quite aware that the iPad mini doesn't have Retina display or HD display screen, which the Nexus has. Also, I am not an e-book reader, so does it matter if I opt for a non-Retina display tablet? The price difference is not much, but cellular is an added feature in Nexus 7. It's an added advantage. So which one do you suggest? Is Nexus 7 a better and relatively cheaper product than the iPad mini with my above given description? Please suggest?
