Hello,

I already have an iPhone 4s and a Samsung Notebook Series 3. I was wondering if it was going to be useful to by an iPad mini to be able to game and work a lil more mobile. I am 15 years old and 330 bucks is a lot of money I find.

Regards and thanks if you can gimme an answer...

Depends what your going to use it for, but I am a highschool student with a 4S, had an iPad 2, I now have nexus 7, and macbook pro. I use them all. When you use the iPad, trust me you will not want to go back to using your pc for facebook and other stuff. So I use my tablet for all my browsing, and media. I then use my macbook for school work and when typing a lot. My iphone for texting and mobility. I regret switching my ipad for the nexus 7, but I can tell you the money comes quick, but I think its very worth it.

Thank you very much for your answer and I think this is a good reason to buy one but I am worried about one thing, I had a PC and a Notebook for a little while and it anoyed the hack out of me that everything wasn't the same on both, now I know iCloud is there but is the integration from iCloud to the iPad and the Notebook as great as the iPhone and the Notebook. SO that I don't have to worry about this. And one more thing is that I want to use it as a ultra mobile Notebook, is it woth that?

Thank you very much for this answer, one more thing I am worried about is: I had a PC and a notebook for a lil while and it annoyed me so bad that everything wasn't the same and I had to use USB disks every minute of the day. Now there is iCloud and Skydrive and Google drive but will this do the exact same as on the iPhone? Otherwise its a waste of money if its only gonna annoy me.

Well since it is a windows pc I'm assuming, and the device is an iOS device there is some limitations. Not every single thing will be in sync but I use google drive to store documents because the iPad one can view and edit them now. Also one more way you can keep synced a little more is instead of using safari on the iPad you could use google chrome so, chrome desktop and chrome PC stay connected. As for music and movies you can set automatic syncing, but the true integration doesn't function as perfect as on a mac. But using it as an ultra portable computer seems perfectly fine, just need to fine tune some settings, Hope that helped!

Thank you, that is a good idea. What fine tune settings are you aming at than? I'd like to know so that I can keep that in mind when I make my decision. Thanks...

Like download this app called photo-sync, keeps your photos nice and clouded between the devices. Also set backups to your PC or iCloud if you choose. I would also consider paying 6 dollars for splash top so you have remote access to your PC and could view, transfer and edit files like you would on your PC. Also all the google apps sync so just sign into those.

I think the iPad Mini could be very useful for High school/College, I don't own one but I've used one multiple times before and they are very handy devices for documents/reading/email/web.

I find the mini ipad to be almost more useful than the full ipad the form factor is easier to hold without putting weight on your wrist.
