streaming audio but not music

I stream content to Twitch.tv and I want to listen to music without streaming. I want a application that can fool the application to thinking the associated applications are on a audio device it can pull audio from them and not others. This way I can avoid any possible copyright infringement. Is this possible, if so how? free if possible.
