5G iPod touch video recording limit?

My brother owns a new iPod touch, and we were recording something once, and when we finished, he found out that it had only recorded the first 3 1/2 minutes or so. Does the touch have a video recording limit, or was it just a setting or something that got screwed up?

I honestly think that was just bad luck because my iPhone does not have a limit and the software is the same. I also asked some friends about the issue and they said their iPod can record till it gets full, so I think that was just a one time glitch. Hope this helped.

Thank you! I couldn't find anything on Google, and I don't have the iPod around, so I couldn't find out for sure.
