My Facebook account was seriously hacked last night and I want to get the police involved, but I deleted all my facebook posts from last night. Can Facebook Recover them?

I dont think the police will get involved unless there is significant financial lost.

I also am unsure of why you would ask this question on this site when either way you will have to contact facebook. I know they probably still have the data on there servers so perhaps they can recover it.

keep a secure password and enable login notifications that when someone from a new computer logs in you get sent an email or a text, that is about all you can do.

maybe.. but hacking is still illegal and what they have done with my twitter is super bad... plus this hacker is not like a normal hacker

So is j-walking... just because something is illegal does not mean it is worth their time. for the FBI to get involved in cyber crime there has to be more then $100k in damages (at least i think that is what i heard a while back)

the bottom line is it is YOUR responsibility to maintain your safety and security online. I am willing to bet the reason why you where hacked on your facebook and twitter account is because you use the same email address with the same password, and that your password is not a good one.
