Just wondering if anti glare protectors work very well and if they impact on the picture quality at all having that extra layer over the screen? is this all companies do when you buy an upgraded anti-glare screen or is it part of the screen? I'm just debating right now whether to go for an anti-glare matte screen or a glossy screen and put a protector on it

If you buy a device with an anti-glare screen you will have good picture quality, the same as you would have on a regular glossy screen but usually with less colour saturation. However if you put an anti-glare protector on a glossy device you will loose image quality.

IF i was you i would got a glossy screen and get a anti-glare matte screen protector. Why you wont to do this is because that if you decide that you wont to take it off you can But if you get a matte screen you cant remove it as easy as a protector. The other problem that you have with a matte screen is that if it gets scratched your out of luck and money But it you have a protector if it get scratched just spend a couple of dollars and get a new one.
