Im looking for a camera on a 700 dollar budget, its for my youtube unboxings and reviews. I am looking at the canon t3i and the T4i. Im reading that the T4i has continues auto-focusing lens during video. Is that good or necessary for what I would use it for?

Depends on what you are doing. If you are constantly moving while recording, it may be a good thing. If you are in one area or like to be all manual, it is not needed

Also, the lens has to be able to focus on the fly if you want the t4i
