Best SSD for iMac Mid 2011?

I've been reading forum post after forum post that Google has to offer on the subject and I keep getting conflicting Information about Trim and Firmware updates that require a Windows PC to apply it (Which I do not have at the moment) and would like someone to give me some personal experience with a good SSD that worked flawless after installing in a Mid 2011 iMac 21.5.

If you can afford it, this should work well, (not sure if the mac will support more than 1 internal drive, so you may have to put the old drive in an external enclosure.

If you do not like that solution and need a lot of internal storage, then you are looking at like a $500 price tag for an SSD of 512GB or more

The Samsung 840 is a great drive. I just checked Amazon, and they have 120GB for under $100! I think that's worth checking out:
