How to make a successful blog and videos?

I am starting to record unboxings and do live videos with reviews and thoughts on new tech. I also started a simple blog where I would write reviews and pretty much host my own review and tech news deal. Though I see some people with huge hits on their videos and huge site visits. Is there any tips to improve your youtube performance and blog success? Thanks!

While I do not vlog/blog what I can say is just be patient. Put your video as responses to other ones, Post it on social networking sites, get friends and family to view it or friends of friends. People who become youtube popular never did it over night. Persevere my friend :)
