Recently I got a copy of visual studio pro. I was an xcode user but I have come to love visual studio pro way more. Though I hear you can only develop for windows phone 8. Is this true because I would like to develop for iOS?

Is it only for developing for windows?

General rule is that it's only for MS sponsored projects and their products.

umm yes it was available... I used it well into last year... in fact it came out in 2011.

True enough, but you'll notice that it gained almost no attention until version 2 which was released in February.

The statement of "it wasn't available" was based off of a quick search which returned results for v2. I didn't see anything prior, my mistake.

@ZBob750 why did you vote this down? is it not accurate?

(Apr 12 '13 at 22:53) trueb trueb's gravatar image

It appears to just be a repeat of another answer. Although, I suppose I can't see the exact time you posted it, they were pretty close...

It seems to me its because i voted down your answer for being inaccurate... if this is true... shame on you...

(Apr 13 '13 at 00:54) trueb trueb's gravatar image

I thought it was a duplicate and quickly hit the down vote button, nothing more, nothing less.

Shame on you for making the assumption that, just kidding. I am slowly ramping up my down votes for duplicate answers, congrats on being the first casualty.
