I want to install Windows 7 Home Premium onto my computer, and if I'm gonna do it, it has to be soon. These are my specs.
Microsoft Windows XP
Service Pack 3
AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2800+
2.08 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM

it's fine but only run 32 bit windows 7. make sure before installing 7 that you do a thorough wipe of the drive you want it on, and then do a clean install of 7. get yourself a copy of partition wizard boot cd and do at least one pass. i recommend 3 passes.

I run Windows 7 Professional 32-bit on a computer with a 1.5 GB of ram and a Intel P4 processor at 3.2 GHz. And it runs quite well. I considering getting more ram but it runs fine. And since it is my server for files and media it doesn't really matter.
