Hello everyone,

I was wondering if there was some good software to password protect folders in Windows 8? I found lots of software, but I just didn't feel like any of it was completely safe.

Does anyone know some good software to password protect?

Thanks in advance!

Depending on the version of Windows 8 you are running you could use BitLocker.

Comes built into the Pro and Enterpirse versions of Windows 8.

You could hide the folder.

that is not password protecting it, and anyone who is snooping around will be able to see it in a heart beat.

TrueCrypt... not technically a folder but will mount a container file (like a zip) as a drive...
