Are these two compatible?

I have a Samsung SIII, which is not compatible with Mountain Lion. I have searched the Internet high and low with no answers.

This is the one thing stopping me from getting the Nexus 7.

Hope you guys can help!

Cheers, Harry

there should be no compatible issues as those devices are designed to show up as mass storage (this allows for compatibility with windows, mac, linux and even other arm devices such as routers with USB ports and other mobile devices such a android devices using an OTG cable.

If by compatibility you mean connecting it to the computer and transferring data then it should work with any system (especially the nexus 7 which shows up as mass storage (essentially a flash drive)

If you want to transfer data to it you can get a little program made by Google to do that. It will not do it without the program.
