[closed] Best processor for video encoding and vmware

I always do a loat of crap on my computer . Running several vmware virtual machine..videoencoding e..t.c should i go for AMF FX 8350 WHICH HAS 8 CORES OR Intel core i7 3700k which is good for my usecase senario ?

I suggest INTEL i7. Best CPU for VM and extremely fast for Video encoding.

There really is no "best". However, there are some good choices that would suit your needs better than others. The AMD FX 8350 is one of the best CPUs for virtual machines. The i7 3770K might edge out the AMD CPU for video encoding. You really can't go wrong with either CPU.

Personally, I would choose the AMD FX 8350, because I'm getting much more power for a much smaller price. Usually, you can find good quality AMD motherboards for less than Intel boards too.
