I was wondering if I should get the iPad mini or the iPad. I have a MacBook Pro but I have to share it with my sisters and it stays at home. I also have a smart phone but it is not that great. |

I personally would get the iPad. I like my iPad even though I have several computers, an iPod Touch 4th gen, a Samsung Captivate Glide, and HP TouchPad. I still find time to use the iPad. Most of that time is spent playing iPad native games. However, if you would like a slightly more portable device then the mini might be the way to go, because at times the iPad can be annoying to carry, and having something that might fit in a pocket would be better. |

I'll tell you something, back then when the iPhone was 3.5 everyone wanted an iPad since it was bigger, but now that 4 inch display on the 5 could make you think, now that I have the 5 I only use my iPad 2 when the 5 is charging or simply to read an article, but most part I do stuff on my 5. Now if you want to get an iPad, try waiting for the iPad Mini with Retina Display, today's model is a bit overpriced and contains hardware that in future OS's will start to lag, my iPad 2 with A5 chip starts to hang up a bit while processing things. I want also an iPad Mini but when it comes with a higher res and better hardware. The iPad 4 now is a hell of a powerhouse, from graphics to processing power, it's the best iPad 9.7 inch model out there, so you decide. |

it all depends on how are you gonna use it.i would recommend you an iPad because i have used iPad mini and the experience was not what i wanted But if you are going to travel with it and have some big Pockets then go for iPad mini P.S i have an iPad and its amazing... |

If you want a bigger screen, with some more power behind it, go with the Ipad, however if you want some more portability, while having a smaller screen and less power, go with the ipad. you really can't go wrong either way |
