I have been offered a Verizon LTE galaxy s3 for my Verizon 4s. Should I do the trade. What would I lose or gain. I love social media. I have a macbook pro, apple tv, nexus 7 (soon to be iPad), and 4s. I do like the s3 as a phone but the problem is I have tmobile. With the iphone after i can jailbreak it will work. The s3 there is a possibility to switch to global and use the LTE for tmobile after rooting. Do you htink this phone would work for me? |

Sounds like you enjoy swimming in the Apple pool. I'd say just stick with it. I like Android better, and the S3 is a sweet phone, but may not be for you if you are a iOS device kinda person. It all depends on what YOU want. |

Thunder7 is correct in his reasoning, however I must point out that Verizon LTE will not work with T-Mobile LTE. Both the 4s and S3 should work on T-Mobiles GSM bands, but only the iPhone will get 4G(HSPA+ not LTE) speeds. Even when T-Mobile starts to roll out it's 4G LTE network this year the S3 will still not be able to use it since Verizon and T-Mobile LTE will operate on different bands. And even if you have an urge to switch to Android and the S3, that is a terrible trade if 4G speed is important to you. |
