Google is becoming a vary powerful company, in the past handfull of years they have many different mobile phones on the market, They own YouTube, they run one of the most used search engines ever, they have there own browser (Google Chrome), They have their own operation system called Chrome OS They are also working on their own car. The list could go on and on. Google is getting their hands into almost everything they can. So are they "taking over the world?" |

Maybe Google is taking over the world, but the question that we need to ask is...could we stop Google from taking over the world if Google tried to? |

Google, Youtube, and Facebook will join and they will be Unstoppable LMAO. Imagine that ! Yea but those companies cant join each other it wont be accepted because they are making a "monopoly". As i recall the last problem about that was when Oracle bought Sun dude Google created YouTube They never created it. They just bought it. i thought that youtube was google's already

Then it was Microsoft, now Google. The simple fact of the matter is that no publicly traded company with monopoly restraints can "take over the world". They certainly are making a major move in the IT arena and (in my not so humble opinion) are making the likes of Microsoft and Apple work for their money for the first time in a long time. In the process, they are also making some really cool products that are making my/our quality of life better...GOOD FOR THEM! |

Posibly, I love their search engine and Gmail, and sometimes I use docs, but that is it. I don't want my life to be run by Google. I seperate my self between different companies: Google is my online applications, Apple makes my phone and comupter, Microsoft makes my main gaming console, and a host of other products by different companies. I think a major tech war is about to brew not just between Apple and Microsoft, but now Apple and Google, and Google and Microsoft. Google is lacking the hardware (so is Microsoft, but they have a lot of people making stuff for them). Apple is constantly innovating in news ways and is constantly selling and controls the music industry. The only thing Google really has that no one else does is Google.com and they have not been working on it. If they let Google.com fault, their whole company will fail. |
Google are awesome, but they would have to change the name "Google" to something better I think.

sorry, I just had to post this... ;P also Chrome OS technically isn't 100% by them, it is based of (open source) the chromium project along with the (open source) Linux foundation project. however yes they did start the Chromium project. :)
