So SSDs are becoming cheaper by the day, which is great as they offer much better read/write speeds, battery life, boot times, and reliability over traditional hard drives. All this said, how much of a difference have you noticed? I am mostly interested in how your battery life has been affected? Please answer based on all aspects and be specific and mention what system/SSD you are using if you like.

SSD's are awesome! I've got one in my MacBook Pro and startup time is just 10-15 seconds total! Whenever I launch an app it's click and play vs click, wait a bit.... aaaand play on and HDD iMac. Their pretty reliable I think since I've barley had any problems other then some partitioning errors (I wasn't doing it from a DVD but from the SSD itself which didn't work out)
Your overal experience with your computer is much much faster! A low-end computer with an SSD can in some cases beat a medium computer with an HDD.
