I am torn between Samsung's Chromebook or the Nexus 7 tablet as they are at the same exact price point. Both seem great for surfing the Web / email / usual things that every single person mentions.

What I am unsure about is the quality of text on both screens; is the bigger screen on the Chromebook worth it, or is the Nexus 7 screen so good that the smaller size isn't an issue?

My main uses would be surfing the Web and filling out job applications. And while I love Android and the tablet form factor, I would also like a physical keyboard; are there affordable ones of good quality for the Nexus? I know the Chromebook has a really good one. Are there a lot of quality apps for Chrome (comparable to modern Android apps)?

Also, one thing I have wanted to do is record audio (specifically electric guitar). Is the Nexus 7 up for the task, or would it have to be Chromebook? (I'm currently using my Galaxy Nexus and it has a lot of glitches when recording audio that make it unbearable to listen to).

It really depends if you want a laptop form factor or a tablet form factor. I would say the tablet, but if you really need the physical keyboard, Chromebook.

I say if you want something more like a laptop than the chrome ok is for you if you want something smaller and is touchscreen and is running android 4.1 jellybean Then the Nexus seven is for you. If you wanted something more like a laptop the chrome book is for you and if you want something touchscreen a little bit smaller and you can take on the go with you then the Nexus seven would be better.

Hello, this question seems to concern a lot of people. Bot of these devices are good. They both cost approximately $200. But which one should you buy. It all depends on what you use. What do you feel more comfortable with? Do you want an extremely portable device that is most likely to fit in your pocket? If so, the Nexus 7 would be the best option in this case. OR would you like a notebook computer that is primarily going to be used as a device for internet (I assume). You choose. TABLET OR A NOTEBOOK.

HOPE THIS HELPED

GOOD LUCK!
