what does being sponsored mean?I know that it can help you but don't know how and what it does. I know that a lot of people are being sponsored on youtube. I know that chris Pirillo is being sponsored by parallels at this time but i just want to know what being sponsored means. |

In my opinion being sponsored means that there is a person, company, a group of people...ANYONE who is interested in you, who is paying for things you need (services). However you have you give them something in return such as saying what a great product they made or what a great company they are. |

Let's say you're a great skateboarder. A company can sponsor you by giving you their equipment for free and you are then giving them advertising by showing other people you use this companies products. Let's say you get lots of views on YouTube. A company can sponsor you and give you expensive camera and lighting equipment, or a staff and in return they put their logo on your videos and take a cut of the money you generate. |
