27-inch, Mid 2011 iMac as a Xbox Screen

Hi Everyone, So l really want to start to play my xbox again, but l don't have any room to get a TV because off my iMac. So l was brain storming last night and l thought why not use my Mac as the TV, do any you guys know how to do this?

0	The only solutions that I know of will give you about a 1-2 second lag in gameplay, so I don't think you would be interested in what I know (it also costs a few hundred dollars). answered Feb 21 at 12:26 catchatyou 20.7k●89●166●383

I know an iMac will notice that another Mac has been connected to it via Thunderbolt/Mini-Display port and display the secondary Mac on the iMac screen. I wonder if the same can be done with an xbox via the hdmi adapter. This may be what catchatyou was thinking but it won't cost hundreds of dollars so I don't know. I also don't know if there will be lag on the older Mini-Display port.
