How long is "1 day" on lockergnome?

Since you have to wait 1 day to vote again after you have used up your 30 votes per day, do you have to wait a whole 24 hours after you used up all the votes? Or do you wait until 12 am?

I am just a little confused about this.

I couldn't find it on the FAQ...
