Hello people,

I have a Office starter License that came with my PC on Windows 7. I uninstalled it because I was using Office Pro but now I need it in my common used VM with Windows 7 on my same notebook but then with Windows 8 Pro with Office Pro. If I try to install this license on the VMware VM it gives an error when setting up and it's saying that I need to try again later every time I try it.

Thanks for possibly telling me what to do to fix this.

Kind regards,

Florian Kleinhoven

The license is probably linked to the laptop (original condition), so when you're trying to use it in a VM it probably thinks it's a completely separate laptop. Try calling their support and have them push it through.
