Samsung Galaxy s2 or s2 Plus?

A year ago I had my budget Samsung Galaxy Y. It is tough like hell but it so slow and with just 300 mb of RAM and 190 MB internal storage you can't do much. I upgraded it with my micro sd cart but that makes it slow. I hardly could get Facebook on my phone. So I am looking for a good phone but I don't want to spend more than 460 dollar on a Smartphone. I was satisfied with Samsung and I was looking for the Galaxy s 2. Here in Holland it is around 460 dollars but i discovered the S2 Plus. I am not a gamer. I have my tablet for that but I would like some simple games on it. So I don't know what to choose. Maybe one of you have recommendations or may have another type of phone? Unfortunately, not every phone is available here in Holland.

The S2 is a good phone and if you don't intend to use it for anything heavy then you don't need the Plus edition. The S2 performs more than well enough in basic games, it's only the grapically intensive games that need more power.

I just saw that the S2 Plus is less expensive. Is it still better to go for the S2 then? Because I want to do at least 2.5 years with it and will Samsung update the s2 still in that period of time?

if the Plus is cheaper get the plus

All I know is that you'll have to have in mind you're gonna have to buy an extra battery, great device, but battery life sucks

I use juice defender to block out all internet connections when I dont need them and I easily get through the day at 70% w/ medium-heavy usage. I use the regular Galaxy s2

(mainly texts, calls, browsing web when I need the internet)
