I am using VMWare Workstation right now as was recommended to me earlier on this forum and I am running 7, XP and Ubuntu 12.10 AMD64 on Windows 8 Pro right now. It works perfectly fine and ESET from Windows 8 blocks everything from possible threads but Windows 7 and XP keep asking me to install an Anti-Virus. Is this needed and if it is, will I have problems with ESET and that Anti-Virus biting each other?
Thanks a lot for the help.

If you go into the action centre you can disable the notifications for this anti virus. Once you have done this you can uninstall the anti virus program in the virtual OS and it won't notify you again

treat every VM as its own machine, so every OS you have installed needs to have an AV on it, if you choose to use one... For Linux the only one i know of is clamAV
