Ok, I am faced with a tough decision, should I get the Atari or the Nintendo Entertainment System? Atari has great games like Galazian, Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Astroids, Dig Dug, Pole Position, and Missile Command; however it can't save games. The NES however, can. It has Games like the Super Mario Bros. Series, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Mach Rider, Kirby's Adventure, and Metroid. I can get both plus nine games and all of the cables for around $210. I want to get everyones opinion (because I'm sure a lot of you have owned one of these systems) to help me choose. Thanks ahead of time! |

As much love as I have for Atari, the NES beats it. You can also download the emulators on your computer and have both. |

I had an Atari 2600 back in the day. I liked the 5200 super system much better because it was more like the arcade games I was used to. When the NES came out, I liked it even more mainly because of the controller but the graphics were a step up too. Honestly; I don't know why you would get either one except for the nostalgia and in that case I'd have to say...the Atari. |
