Hi, folks! I'm a 66-year-old retired teacher who thoroughly enjoys technology. I've had iPad 1, 2, and currently have the 4th gen. I sold my 4S recently and currently have the iPhone 5. That's my history. I've heard about jailbreaking and researched it a little. What are the primary advantages and disadvantages of jailbreaking? Are your iDevices jailbroken? If I should decide to try jailbreaking, which method or app do you recommend? In your opinion, do the benefits outweigh the inconvenience of the jailbreaking process? And, finally, If I decide to give jailbreaking a try and end up hating it, is it easy to reverse? |
The question has been closed for the following reason "Other - Jailbreaaking violates the Apple EULA and therefore discussion of it here is forbidden" by Tim Fontana Feb 26 at 09:16

I have removed this as endorsing jailbreaking is not permitted on here, sorry |

This question should not have been closed, here is why:
It has been deemed that jail breaking is "fair use," This means that despite it being against the EULA, apple cannot take legal action against those who jailbreak, thus contradicting the purpose of it being in the EULA.
That part of the EULA cannot be upheld, and should be removed. Not all things in a contract can be legally upheld, and this is one of them.
