With Excel, I can't open two windows for two documents. I used to be able to but now I can't. It opens two different thumbnails, but when I click on one it takes me to the Excel document; when I click on the other Excel document, it opens up on the same Excel window -- but the other one disappears. It does not move between Excel windows. I am using Windows 7.

Try launching excel again, then you should get a separate excel window you can open the 2nd document in. If I open the documents themselves, they will all open into one excel window but if I launch excel first I can open different excel windows.
