I currently have a Macbook Air, but I love Android. My future phone is most likely going to be a Nexus 4. Is it worth leaving my Macbook? Or should I get an iPhone? I was thinking of getting a full experience with a Windows laptop, an iPad mini and a Nexus 4. But is it better to be on one side and be completely integrated?

I think as chris always best for one isn't for all. some things are easier when in one eco system, but if you like both then why change what you have? Have you considered using parallels? Also google calendar can be useful if you choose to keep apple products and android together. Third party apps would be more useful.

With a MacBook You can run all the operating systems on there with ease. So, get all the ones you may want on your MAcBook, not worth leaving MAcBook unless you are getting an upgrade. However, Google works with many Apple products, but Apple doesn't work with anything else unless it's made by Apple. In the passed, I tried to stay away from Apple because they are so isolated from other services, and Apple refuses to make anything for other platforms. For example, I can use so many Google products on my iPhone, but nothing Apple related on a Android.

If you have the money to keep buying in Apple's ecosystem, it's great because everything works together. But if you want to get other products, they will not work well with Apple's ecosystem. However, if you just have a MAcbook air, you should have no problem with a Nexus. Pretty much all Google Employees have a MAcBook Pro, because it has great software for developing Android Apps. There should be no problem.
