I still use Windows XP Home on my desktop PC because its simple and clean for me to use. I have thought about getting Windows 7 mainly because the PC gaming industry is moving closer and closer to using directx 10+ only but i can't afford it - yet.

somewhat how i see it as well. Why upgrade now when you can be comfortable with what you have for a while knowing its still going to be kind of supported and upgrade when the OS has actually developed enough that you feel comfortable to move on, although I'll most likely divert to Linux before going to Win7 =]

I am still running Windows XP. It's a great operating system that is compatible with everything from Windows 98 and up.
