I believe 3D will end up just being a feature all televisions have, at this time I am not even close to looking at that style of 3D where you have to use glasses.

Meh....1 being the lowest...I would have to say 4. I'm not really excited about them. I'm going to talk about the 3D aspect of them...I know 3D Tvs can change to "normal mode" with the press of a button

  1. I tried one out...and it got me a little dizzy...not the same as 3D in the theater.

  2. I can't see myself wearing glasses every time I want to enjoy a 3D movie.

  3. If the glasses break, you gotta pay a large amount of money just to get the function back

  4. If you forget to charge one pair of glasses out of 4, either the family has to wait for that one person to charge their pair, or one person sits out. 8/ I know everyone here is not perfect in charging everything right away. I have forgotten to charge my iPad or iPod every once in a while. It sucks knowing you cant use it for a few hours.

Although...I gave the Idea a 4 mainly because I'm a huge gamer...I'd like to experience 3D gaming before I totally trash the idea.

I cant wait for 3D with bare eyes. xD

Im not to bothered about 3D tvs ... yet. theres still not enough content to justify buying one, Some media is still being recorded in standard def. Although I cant wait to see what First Person Shooter games will look like in 3D

edit, currently id say 3/10

3D isn't that great, I have seen the Sony 3D TV's and they look alright but nothing spectacular.

I used to think the whole thing was a marketing gimmick, but after seeing the new Resident Evil in 3D, I'd buy a 3D TV just for that one movie.

I have nvidia 3d vision. It is a amazing technology how ever it dose have it's draw backs. FPS games i think are there best to utilize this technology. WOW play great also. But heres my gripe. Cross platform conpadbilty i think isd going to kill this technology. I have 200.00 glasses that wont work with other brands... sony, vizeo and so on. Then there the fact that one needs a 120hz screen when most all current screens are 60hz not to mention you need compatible video cards. Now hears the biggest gripe. I cant watch movies like avatar in 3D. (avatar and metro 2033 are fregin epic in 3D when it comes to games) SOOOoooo yea if there becomes a standard like USB that is cross platform and works flawlessly 3D is dead.

But it is very cool to have know doubt.

O yea... on a scale of one to 10... well nothing is ever one or ten. I would say the tech is currently 5 and has the potential to be 8 1/2....
