I occasionally crosspost my status to Facebook from Twitter but I do it intentionally and selectively. I don't always crosspost but only when I'm posing a question or have a significant update.

I crosspost by using the #FB tag and by using the Facebook update button on Tweetdeck.

How about you?

When using tweetdeck I do, but not usually. The only real time I cross post is when I am posting a new blogpost or some such.

If I post a Tweet, the Twitter app on Facebook automatically posts it to my Facebook wall.

So your twitter updates always post as status updates on Facebook. Do you feel like that adds more noise maybe than your followers might like?

I use Ping.fm to post to all of my social networking sites, including twitter and facebook

Do you always cross-post?

(May 30 '10 at 22:35) Tojosan Tojosan's gravatar image

Usually now since it is integrated to the Seesmic application (since Seemic bought ping.fm)

Posterous or Seesmic both allow cross posts.

The question is do you make use of that all the time, some times, no times.

I use Ping.fm to post to many different sites at once. Including Twitter, Facebook, WordPress.com and Tumblr

Good tool but how often do you cross-post?

(May 30 '10 at 22:58) Tojosan Tojosan's gravatar image

I do not cross post. I like to keep my social networks separate. I even try not to have my "friends, followers, subscriber, or circlers" from one network in another.
