Hi there. So for the passed couple of years, I have been using Apple earbuds, and Samsung earbuds. I'm sick of them, now, and I am in the market to looking for some good over the ear headphones.
I don't want something really expensive like beats. My budget is $80.00. USD
I want something good, and maybe something you (the lockergnome community) has used.
Some things are a must for me. I am really looking to kill the cord. I'd be willing to sacrifice a little sound quality for either wireless or bluetooth headphones.
Noise canceling would be great too. I don't like to blast music when people are talking.
Comfort is another major thing. As some know, Apple earbuds is not comfortable. At least for me it isn't. The Headphones don't have to have a built in mic, because I doubt I will be using it for calls.
Looks are not the biggest thing, but if they are ugly, then probably not. I'm not looking for a specific company with these headphones, just someone who makes quality headphones.

stick with the ear buds for the quality sound and light weight , yeah head sets can be top notch I;m not trying to say they can be but they are heavy uncomfortable and can make you sweat in the middle of winter in a blizzard why would you want to pay top dollar for that discomfort ???

My grandfather has these Sony wireless ones hooked up to his TV and they sound incredible. And spec wise, they're pretty good, too. http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDR-RF970RK-Wireless-Stereo-Headphones/dp/B000PCEFXQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1346599391&sr=1-3
My personal favorites are the Roland RH-5 over-ear monitors. They're wired, but the cord doesn't really get in the way. Since I'm a keyboard player and do lots with live sound, I needed good monitor headphones that would last me a long time but wouldn't make me worry about having to pay tons to replace them if they get destroyed in a gig bag. For $40, these things are freaking awesome. http://www.amazon.com/Roland-RH-5-Stereo-Headphones/dp/B0039ADJHO
