Hi guys, I am currently managing a project to track Trolleys, Vehicles and People in an airport. What kind of technology is best used RFID or GPS? Regards Hafiz |

At my last job we used a combination of RFID, GPS, and DGPS to track containers coming on & off the ships, trucks, and trains. I also used to work for some major airlines. Those are different environments. The GPS & DGPS systems need line of sight, so indoors tracking isn't going to work. Maybe you can provide more information, so we can better understand what you're trying to accomplish. |

I'm no expert but if you're doing this indoors I would say use RFID. Even if it's less accurate it should be faster and cheaper. I could be wrong! |

RFID is very short range you will need tracking sensors everywhere, not pratical for large scale enviroment like airports... GPS would be the best way to go if you ask me.. Plus RFID is not meant for tracking as much as it is for identifying thus the ID |
