Hey guys, got an interesting question (at least for me). I know that most tablets have some sort of a video/audio out function, where you can hook it up to a monitor and use that for viewing.
I want to know if you can do something similar but different.
I'd be interested in hooking up a tablet PC, and making it work as an additional monitor for my laptop (for artwork and stuff). Is that doable? Or is it easier to buy a device dedicated for that? As this is theoretical (I'm doing my research), the OS does not matter.

it should be possible but I cant seem to find any apps for it.
though I do have concerns with doing it with a modern tablet as they use low cost IPS panels that are fast to get burn-in's
Other than that concern I don't see why it cant be done, I was done years ago with windows mobile
