Windows 8 is around the corner. I would love to build one, but would need a touch screen monitor. I'm trying to make this a budget build computer, but most monitors are about $400 +. Are there monitors that are cheaper, but still great quality for Windows 8?
Do you think the price will go down for touch screen monitors in the future?

Here's one for under $275. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824176356
Bro, you should've thought of this before 8 was right around the corner. Most retailers are marking up their touchscreen monitors. I would think the price will go down but most people using 8 will use it via traditional mouse and keyboard or trackpad because that's what they're comfortable with.
