Do you use Facebook as a blog of sorts? It seems like it's turning into that with the Subscription features. Do you just write random stuff or long, personal or topic based posts? Is Facebook your blog?

Facebook is a place to document, although the big difference between facebook and a blog is the social features aswell as the fact that each profile is on the same network and less like seperet sites. People go too indeph on facebook for it to be a blog, instead of a overview of a day in a post, details of each moment in seperate posts, the timeline may be blogish but facebook has small features that says no to this question although if you would like it is up to you how you treat the site and as google say "the web is what you make of it."

I don't really think it is a blog of sorts. Maybe a place to gather electronically with friends near by or around the globe more likely where you can keep contact with of sorts. I would rather use something like wordpress to for a blog or Joomla a content management system personally.

No, its more about connection with other people (that's how it markets itself). As you are also limited to a set number of characters and formatting it is not a blog in the same way Google+ is a sort of social blog network.
