I'm getting this error constantly when using Garageband. What am I doing on it you might ask? well, I'm trying to listen to a recording of myself playing guitar. It's going though a simulated amp and Fuzz pedal. It's the only track and they're the only effects. I've done all the optimisation in the help menu, I have no other applications running or anything. The track plays for about 5 seconds then I get the error.
I'm using a MacBook Pro with 8GB of ram and a 2.66Ghz Dual Core i7. when looking at my usage while the recording it playing they don't spike, or even go up. They stay at around the 20-30% capacity mark.
The only theory I can come up with is my read/write speed is too slow, although I can't imagine it being too slow since I'm running on an internal RAID drive.
