It's close to Christmas time and I'm shopping around for a new computer on a budget. I have came across some really nice stuff but need to know what the main differences are in the processors below and if both of them could handle running minecraft, google chrome, and screen capture software at the same time. I need something that can handle medium video editing, games here and there, not like newer games but like simulators and minecraft. My current computer is lacking everything and I can do only one or two things at a time on it. Also I do have a new 1gb video card already that is fairly new that I got around July earlier this year.

The Intel Core i3 models are dual-core, built on a 32 nanometer process, they have Hyperthreading, but do not have Turbo Boost. They have built-in graphics processors, most of them using the HD Graphics 2000 architecture.
The Intel Core i5 models are quad-core, built on the 22 nanometer process (for better power efficiency), they have Turbo Boost technology, but no Hyperthreading. They have built-in graphics processors based on the newer HD Graphics 2500 and 4000 architectures.
I personaly have an intel core i3 processor and it works just fine for light gaming and such.
