I'm changing the branding of my show and content to more of a network style site including my YouTube channel and etc. I have writers, vloggers and even sponsors in place, but the only thing holding me back now is a NAME! I've tried so many, but they've all turned out to be taken or just not that good. So when all else fails ask the Gnomies!
I would like to have a name like "The Blaze" or "The Verge"

Current Events. Now there's a stupid phrase if ever you heard one. Is that like someone switching the lights on and off?
"The Blaze"? Why would anyone want to read about the markings on a horse?
"The Verge"? As in kicked to the untended wayside, you mean?
People set far too much store by flashy names. At the end of the day people will read what's interesting not what's got a fancy moniker. Most read political blogs ... The Huffington Post, The Drudge Report, The Politico ... not a whack 'em in the eye title amongst them. If your content's good enough you could call it Stuff What Happened and still get readers flocking. If it's not then all the super-duper, hot, mega titles in the world won't save you.
