So I recently downgraded my laptop to Windows 7 from 8 and now the BIOS doesnt detect the HDD. I turn on the Laptop and it goes straight to the BIOS. How would I go upon fixing this issue? btw I had to take the HDD out and put it into another computer to instal 7 because the BIOS wouldnt detect my flashdrive either

Have you tried reopening up the drive bay where the hard drive is seated at and just retry connecting it back into the connections themselves. Its soulds like it is not seating properly for the laptop to detact the drive there. It has happened to me once or twice before where it did not seat properly and couldn't find it. Once I resat the drives they were able to be found without a problem.
