I'm shopping for a computer for my dad, and I came across this deal.
Now, I know specs, so I know that this is a pretty freakin' awesome deal, especially since a few sites I checked said the average price for this model was $779. I guess the only question I had was, do you guys think (I don't know how else to put this) that this deal is safe?
To personally testify, I bought my current laptop from this site about a year ago. It's been a pretty nice one, even with a Pentium processor, and I've had no abnormal problems with it. So I just wanted to make sure you guys out there didn't have any further misgivings.

If you've had personal experience & it was a good one, then why even ask?
I suppose you could try to find out exactly what the issue was that had to be "refurbed" & decide if it sounds serious enough to cause you to worry.
Once you get it home, run a good stress-test on the thing to put it through it's paces. If it survives- you have a winner- if not, back it goes a.s.a.p!
