In my psychology class, my teacher brings up many good points. one of which that caught my eye is the fault in our educational system is that we label kids as either slow or gifted even before they have developed. people do develop at different rates. thoughts?

People also have different learning styles (Visual, Aural or Kineasthetic[practical]). i see your point in what you mean though. i remember when i was young people thought i was slow and shy of everythign. then when i got into year 4(or 4th grade) i was doing math meant to be for 7/8th graders. Was quite a shock for everyone.
