Now many of you will probably say Fail, but just like the ipad, everyone doomed it from the start, and I quote "..Its just a big iPhone." What do you think? are they right for business? or just personal use?

I personally love Windows 8. I am an average user, and use my windows PC mainly for web surfing and jailbreaking, and I use my Mac for video editing and audio/video production. I think that Windows 8 will eventually win over businesses, but it will take time, just like the iPhone eventually took over BlackBerry in the business scene. Windows 8 Has a great UI, but it's not very much Desktop optimized, however, when used with a touch/gesture compatible mouse or trackpad (such as the TouchMouse from Microsoft), it's great. Obviously Windows 8 is optimized for touch, and as soon as manufacturers work in touch to every display manufactured, is when Windows 8 will really take off.

There are two different camps, and very few in the middle.
this is my thoughts:
Windows 8 is great for a table, If you choose to put yourself in the Microsoft ecosystem, it should be a good system.
On the other hand, from a business point of view it is the worst thing to ever happen. It is so drastically different you would have to spend a lot in retraining employees, this is why i feel it will not take off.
Now you also have the Windows 8 RT... and the fact that it is, as far as i know, identical on the surface, but still not compatible with Windows 8.
So, I do not see this taking off like they had hopped.
I know several people who have switched over to it being their primary OS, and they seem to like it. But I just cant get into it...
