My granny's causing some problems and I was thinking of wiretapping our home cordless phone so I could listen to what she's up to. I went to Amazon to look for telephone recording adaptors but most stated it's not compatible with cordless phone. I went online and saw that walkie talkies share the same channel/frequencies as a cordless phone. However, I called my handphone while performing a channel scan from my walkie talkie, but nothing happens. Anyone to enlighten me?

First allow me to say, I do not support this...
but all cordless phones go into a regular phone jack, you can use that jack with a normal phone
Walkie talkies don't work on the same frequency range of cordless phones.
