I bought an iPhone 5 yesterday and I was wondering what ideas the community had to help make my experience better. I have a iPod Touch and a iPad; however, until yesterday I have not had a iPhone. I had a Samsung Captivate Glide very briefly until Yesterday but before that I was on boring phones. So anyways to make a long story short, what apps/games or setting should I change to make the phone better?

I have an iPhone 5 two weeks now, and mainly I have some tips and tricks related to battery life and network connectivity.
Network: A thing I have read from Blogs and that the own seller told me, is that the first week your 3G network might not work correctly, this is because iPhone 5 counts with a Tecnology of switching Bands and connections, so in the first week it kind of tries to understand how your Carrier and cell towers work, in my first days I toggled 3G on and it keep connected to edge, but at the 4-5 day it connected instantly to 3G.
Also try to assure that you use wifi/Bluetooth/3G when needed, if not, turn them off.
Battery life: Some blogs go more deep into how you can safe as much battery, but I basically just turn down Brightness (sometimes auto lighting doesn't help you save) and control push notifications (Apps, Mail). Get yourself into the notification section in your iPhone and just leave apps that you really need to deliver notifications, shutting of all the toggles of each unnecessary app. Ill toggle of Push download of Mail only when I'm like in ten percent. Also things like Siri raise to speak or System location services might need to be checked so you leave things that you might really need to be updated constantly.
Gaming on the iPhone might also bring down your battery life, I only play simple games on the bus or stuff like that, unlike does graphic intensive apps that might bring your battery down quickly. Also the constant use of GPS/mapping apps can bring down your battery life down.

The first thing to do is download the apps you have on your current Apple devices onto your iPhone using Apple's iCloud. Then you have to go and download Flipboard & Yahoo Weather, the best weather app on iOS. I would then suggest you download the likes of Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook. Other than them few its up to you. Hope this helped.

I would do the following to help your battery life, I did these on my iPhone 4S: Disable "Raise to Speak" in the Siri settings. Go to "Settings" > "Privacy" > "Location Services" scroll down, tap "System Services" and disable: "Diagnostics & Usage", "Genius for Apps", "Location-Based iAds", "Setting Time Zone" and "Traffic" if you don't use the traffic feature a lot. Disabling these will increase battery life. Also, I highly recommend disabling Location Services for the Camera app as I have read about some privacy concerns, but its entirely up to you.
