so how do you guys think the world will end? like the bible says? or how? and when? ~RJHaid on youtube (hit me up) |

In about 4 billion years the Sun will expand to a red giant, reach the Earth's orbit belt, covering half the sky each day, being extremely hot. A few more million years later, it will live a few million years as a white dwarf, smaller, but more gravitational pull. Then it will collapse and explode, resulting in a supernova, then suck back in again to reveal a black hole, sucking in the Earth and everything that passes it's event horizon. |
|
It will end in darkness. Sun will not last forever. |

World Will end when the live.pirillo.com stops streaming... 1
That happens all of the time (if like once a week is considered all of the time) for like 2-5 minutes. I've been privileged to watch as the stream just suddenly stops. |

like Snooze 2nd said the sun will turn into a Supernova and we will burn to death, but we will end much earlier with the global warming... |
|
I think it depends what you mean by "world" - the Earth? The Solar System? The Galaxy? The Universe? Existence itself? In short, I have no idea. And it bends my mind when I try and think about it. |

Glad you asked because I got my own theory on it - and it's very likely. In 4-5 billion years Sun will explode, BUT in a billion years the Sun would be too hot for Earth to contain any liquid. Now taking that billion years. My theory is that the mankind would destroy itself in the future. It could be some stupid invention, war or something else. Also, soon the Earth would be too small to hold all human beings. As time goes by humans will also get smarter and definitely would invent a space shuttle or a spaceship so we could fly in the space to search other planets to live on because of the small size of Earth. Saying that mankind would end because the Sun exploding isn't right on my opinion. I also got a darker side of humans using only robots as workers (no, robots aren't taking over :P), then the streets would be empty the world has fallen into darkness, loneliness and so on, but that's another story. Sorry for my long answer. |

I think at the very latest when our sun goes Supernova on our asses. Sooner if we keep screwing up our planet the way we are now. |

Even astrophysicists aren't sure but some think the Sun will continue to burn hotter and hotter till all life on Earth even those pesky roaches won't be able to survive (all the water and atmosphere will be heated and be blown into space by the Sun's intensely hot solar winds. That is expected to happen in the latter part of the next 5 billion years. If the Sun does expand it could reach Earth and burn it to ashes and the expansion could continue to just beyond Mars. The Sun does not have enough mass to supernova. Then it is expected to shrink back down its original size and continue to shrink to a white dwarf meanwhile the Earth will be lifeless and the solar system will gradually cool down to a few degrees above absolute zero about -455 F. Others think scientists might find a way to destroy the planet by accident such as creating a black hole that will consume the Earth and leave no evidence of its existence or people will continue to abuse the resources and offset the delicate balance between all living things. Religious people have different beliefs depending on their particular religions that continue to have an ongoing influence on their behavior sometimes leading to wars and the deaths of thousands or millions often because of petty differences. |

Earth will get hit by a meteor so huge (size of the moon) we will be helpless. |
