When no gravity effects are done in movies,it is done largely in camera If no gravity is being simulated, actors will wear tighter fitting clothing in order to prevent the clothing from hanging and thus killing the effect.
If a shift in gravity if needed, then actors will often wear loose fighting clothing so when the shift happens, the clothing can move to further sell the effect.
Manipulating gravity is pretty much never done in post production as it will require too much work and will not blend perfectly with footage of actors, so you either make the entire scene in 3D, no real people at all, or you do the effect in camera
eg (spinning the entire set around)

It would be difficult to make it look good but you could green screen it. A lot of programs will use chroma key. If you're going to suspend yourself from a harness find some way to color or cover the ropes or cables. Just shoot the environment without the actor and use that for the background. Take your time and think it out and it might look ok.

It really depends on what you're trying to do. There are somethings you're not gonna be able to get to look right, but some simple things can be done with cheap programs. Is there a specific shot you're trying to pull off? You've gotta start with a specific idea and go from there.
Also, does this have to do with this contest?
