Are 3D TVs really necessary? Can't they just make the video 3d to where the image shows up on the tv as a 3d image (without the glasses of course)?

In my opinion not until they can figure out how to make them not require glasses. (I think a company has already made a 3D TV without glasses) Though video gaming will probably benefit the largest from 3D technology.

To have 3D content you require both a functioning 3D television (Either with or without glasses) and a 3D video stream.
