I've heard stuff about toothpaste. I'd just get a new disk if possible.

  1. try a soft t-shirt.
  2. Repeat with a little toothpaste.

Always move from the middle to the outer edge and back; not in circles.

Go to your local music store and ask for a CD/DVD cleaning kit or a CD/DVD buffer...

Use a repair kit!

Or you can polish the scratch but try not to do this as this can ruin your disk! There are many different types of polish you can use. Eg. toothpaste or you can use a polishing compound.

The safest way to clean any is with a soft micro fiber cloth and windex. i did this thousand of time with my friends disk and they still look factory new.

I would try to duplicate the disk...if it is badly scratched...however, I would get some like of cloth to clean off the scratches...I am sorry, that I can't give you that much help...I have always tried to keep my Blu-ray disks as clean as possible.

If polishing doesn’t work, apply a very thin coat of Vaseline, liquid car wax, neutral shoe polish, or furniture wax to the CD’s playing surface. Wipe excess off using clean, soft, lint-free cloth in a radial (inside to outside) motion. If using wax, follow manufacturer’s instructions (some need to dry before you wipe them off, while others should be wiped off while still wet). If the wax or Vaseline does the trick, burn a new copy of the CD immediately. The waxing method is only a temporary solution.
